Spent this morning out at Sutter’s Landing Park along the American River Parkway cleaning the area for our MLK Day of Service project. Carlos Olivas Jr. served in the U.S. Navy on a submarine that would ship out of Pearl Harbor in the 1960’s. We thought it fitting today to honor him and his story.
